Ingredients

This set also includes three basic test tubes of different types of Kampot pepper.

They differ in taste and aroma, which you will hardly find in pepper bought in regular supermarkets.

Black pepper when ground, releases notes of eucalyptus, camphor, and thyme accompanied by the aroma of lime peel. These gradually transition into a coastal aroma with developing fruity notes. The dominant aroma is of peach and nectarine, accompanied by the scent of pine and earthy tones of Cambodian mountain soil full of minerals.

Rare red pepper is an explosion of fruity notes with milder spiciness. Initially, notes of rose and rosehip dominate, which then transition into dried cherries. After two to three minutes, more characteristic aromas for Kampot pepper begin to develop, such as citrus fruits, dried mandarins, and the earthier crust of sourdough bread.

White pepper is a gentle yet still peppery caress of the taste buds. When ground, it develops aromas of camphor, sage, and cedarwood, accompanied by a subtle aroma of nutmeg flower, grapefruits, and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in the mouth, you can taste notes of nutmeg, thyme flower, and lemon balm underpinned by the aroma of cedar and black tea.

Characteristic

In the box made of recycled cardboard, we have stored everything you need to work with Kampot pepper.

Our design Package represents maximum luxury, sustainability, precision, the highest possible quality, and design, which you won't find anywhere else. The Package includes three Scandinavian mills, three 70g test tubes with basic types of pepper, enough for more than 400 servings of food, and it also includes a practical stand for the test tubes.

The set is maximally environmentally friendly thanks to the use of natural and recycled materials meeting sustainable forestry certifications. The peppercorns exported to your table come from small family farms. They approach pepper cultivation with honesty and traditional methods, which have been used in this area for hundreds of years.

We purchase pepper from them under the fairest possible conditions. During export, the grains undergo multiple selections, ensuring that you get the most authentic taste and aroma from Cambodia..

Maintenance

By adjusting the coarseness of grinding in pepper, you influence its taste profile.

What less fragments, sharper taste of pepper will be. On the other hand, larger fragments will pass the food more of the specific exotic tones of the camppot pepper.

When filling the grinder never Do not use bare hands, but pour the restless balls into the chamber straight from the packaging and help with a spoon or funnel. At the same time, do not forget to clean your grinder regularly. However, never Do not use water or chemical products. Just a cloth, a brush and a drop of olive oil. Always keep the grinder away from the sink and carefully with its operation also above the steam.

Material

The grinder is made from natural wood, or it combines a wooden head with a porcelain body.

All grinders have a unique wood grain and also a special surface finish, thanks to which they will last for many decades. The porcelain grinders rely on the robustness and durability of porcelain, which is in a singular contrast to the solid wood from which the head is made.

We have stored the pepper in 70g test tubes made of Czech glass, which perfectly preserve the unique aroma and taste character of the peppercorns. The test tubes themselves, along with the grinders, are stored in a box made of recycled cardboard with a special surface finish, making the entire set ideal as a gift. You can have any text or image engraved on the box, giving it a personal style. We designed everything so that the box functions as a showcase for all the peppery treasures, for as long as you want. Just slide out the inner part. All materials are also easily recyclable and can be repurposed in line with upcycling principles.

Grinding mechanism

The Package also includes three Scandinavian mills with a height of 17 centimeters, so you never have to deal with spilling pepper again.

The mills are offered either in a natural wooden variant made from light oak wood, dark brown walnut wood, and black-brown ash. Alternatively, you can choose a modern ceramic version in white, black, and red colors.

All mills have a conical shape, which fits perfectly in the hand and the grinding of the pepper is handled by the patented CrushGrind® mechanism with an impressive 25-year warranty.By adjusting the coarseness of the pepper grind, you influence its flavor profile. The smaller the fragments, the sharper the taste of the pepper will be. Conversely, larger fragments will impart more of the specific exotic tones of Kampot pepper to the dish.
