The set components are three 10 g vials with the basic types of Kampot pepper.

The different types vary in both taste and aroma, which are hardly found in pepper bought at ordinary supermarkets.

Black Kampot pepper after grinding, it releases notes of eucalyptus, camphor, and thyme, accompanied by the scent of lime peel. These gradually evolve into an aromatic blend with emerging fruity tones. The dominant aroma is that of peach and nectarine, complemented by hints of pine and the earthy notes of Cambodian mountain soil rich in minerals.

Rare Red Kampot pepper It is an explosion of fruity notes with a milder spiciness. Initially, notes of rose and rosehip dominate, which later transition into those of dried cherries. After two to three minutes, more characteristic aromas for Kampot pepper begin to develop, such as citrus fruits, dried tangerines, and an earthier crust of sourdough bread.

White Kampot pepper It is a gentle yet consistently peppery caress for the taste buds. After grinding, scents of camphor, sage, and cedarwood develop, accompanied by a subtle aroma of nutmeg flower, grapefruit, and other citrus fruits. After several minutes in the mouth, you can detect notes of nutmeg, thyme flower, and balm, underscored by the aroma of cedar and black tea.

Maintenance

By adjusting the coarseness of the pepper grind, you influence its flavor profile.

The smaller the fragments, the sharper the taste of the pepper will be. Conversely, larger fragments impart more of the specific exotic tones of Kampot pepper to the dish.

When filling the grinder, never use bare hands, but pour the restless peppercorns directly from the package into the chamber and assist yourself with a spoon or funnel. At the same time, don't forget to Grinder clean it regularly. However, never use water or chemical agents for this. A cloth, a brush, and a drop of olive oil are enough. Always keep Grinder away from the sink and be careful with its operation over steam as well.
