We selected the color of the grinders so that you always instantly know which one to grab if you need to crush black, red, or white Kampot pepper into your dish.

Our natural grinders are designed to become a decoration in your kitchen as well. Their shape has been designed to fit perfectly in every hand and not slip. The head is pleasant to grip and provides perfect feedback from the grinding mechanism hidden inside the grinder. Create an uncompromising set with which you can crush every grain of pepper and every crystal of salt. You can also order a stand for the grinders made from premium walnut wood with the set.

This set also includes three basic Package types of Kampot pepper: black, red, and white. They differ in taste and aroma, which you will hardly find in pepper bought in regular supermarkets.

Black pepper when ground releases notes of eucalyptus, camphor, and thyme accompanied by the aroma of lime peel. These gradually transition into a coastal aroma with developing fruity tones. The dominant aroma is peach and nectarine, accompanied by the scent of pine and earthy tones of Cambodian mountain soil full of minerals.

Rare red pepper is an explosion of fruity tones with a milder spiciness. Initially, tones of rose and rosehip dominate, which then transition into dried cherries. After two to three minutes, more characteristic aromas for Kampot pepper begin to develop, such as citrus fruits, dried mandarins, and the earthier crust of sourdough bread.

White pepper is a gentle, yet still peppery caress of the taste buds. Once ground, it develops aromas of camphor, sage, and cedarwood, accompanied by a subtle aroma of nutmeg blossom, grapefruits, and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in the mouth, you can taste notes of nutmeg, thyme blossom, and lemon balm underlined by the aroma of cedar and black tea.

Grinding mechanism

The heart of the grinder is the CrushGrind® ceramic grinding mechanism.

This mechanism can grind peppercorns or salt evenly in 14 levels of coarseness. The entire patented mechanism is covered by a 25-year warranty, giving you the assurance that this grinder will last.

Maintenance

By adjusting the grind size of the pepper, you influence its flavor profile.

The smaller the fragments, the sharper the taste of the pepper will be. Conversely, larger fragments will impart more of the specific exotic tones of Kampot pepper to the dish.

When filling the grinder, never use bare hands, but pour the unruly peppercorns directly from the package into the chamber, and use a spoon or funnel to help. At the same time, don't forget to clean your grinder regularly. However, never use water or chemical agents for this. A cloth, a brush, and a drop of olive oil are enough. Always keep the grinder away from the sink and be careful with its operation also over steam.

Materials

All three grinders are made from select natural wood.

Specifically from black-brown ash, brown walnut, and light oak. Each grinder has a unique wood grain and also a special surface finish, ensuring each one lasts for many decades.
