Origin

Kampot Pepper is grown in Kampot province, located in the far south of East Asian Cambodia.

This is an area that, thanks to its coastal climate and geological conditions, allows local farmers to produce pepper of the highest quality in the world. It is no coincidence that this pepper has earned a protected geographical indication, similar to French champagne.
We purchase pepper from small family farms under direct trade conditions that guarantee a fair reward for every farmer, and we strive to promote this approach among other traders.
As a result, by purchasing from us, you receive not only the highest quality pepper, but also the assurance that you are buying a sustainable and morally responsible product that will help ensure medical care and education for their children

Characteristic

It is delicate and tender, and once bitten into in your mouth, it unleashes a perfect harmony of exotic flavors.

Compared to classic dried pepper, it differs significantly. Green pepper offers Intense pepper flavor, which is gradually accompanied by tones citrus and conifers, mutually interconnected with floral notes.

Processing

We pack this delicacy in the highest quality directly in Cambodia.

To the green peppercorns is added a pinch of salt flower obtained by evaporating sea water. Fresh pepper preserves and thus guarantees its absolute freshness. Thanks to this processing, the grains retain the taste of tender green pepper just picked from the pepper vine.

Thanks to the careful selection meeting the strict requirements for the quality of pepper grown in Kampot, as established by the Kampot Pepper Association, only the best grains are always hand-picked. They are then vacuum-packed to ensure that the quality and freshness are preserved during the journey to the Czech Republic, where they are further sorted, packed, and delivered right to your table.

Usage

The green pepper will be loved for its subtlety, especially by aficionados of vegetarian cuisine.

Try combining its perfect flavor with dark meat, sauces, with risotto or with morning eggs. Tender green kernels are also well suited to pasta, casseroles, and soups. It also pairs very well with delicate cheeses, to which it provides a sharper accompaniment.

This pepper is not suitable for grinding in a grinder because of potential clogging of the milling mechanism. If you still want to disrupt its outer skin, use a mortar.

Package

We still pack the pepper in Cambodia into bags with capacities of 40 and 100 grams.

Thanks to these bags, the peppercorns retain the authentic taste and aroma of fresh Kampot pepper. In this edition, it is additionally stored in a luxurious sealed envelope made of extract paper. Used coffee cups are employed for its production.

Each Package also includes a brochure that brings you the story of the best pepper in the world and introduces the world .pepper..field.

Awards

Quality comes first for us, as confirmed not only by the certificates our pepper carries, but also by the awards it wins at international competitions.
