Kampot Pepper is grown in Kampot province, located in the very south of East Asian Cambodia.

This is an area that, thanks to its coastal climate and geological conditions, allows local farmers to produce pepper of the highest quality in the world. Not without reason, this pepper has gained a protected geographical designation, similar to French champagne.
From small family farms, we buy pepper at direct trade conditions that guarantee a fair compensation for every grower, and we aim to promote this approach among other traders.

Characteristic

White pepper is a gentle, yet still peppery caress of taste fantasies.

After it is ground, it unfolds outward of camphor, sage and cedar wood, accompanied by the gentle aroma of musk flower, of grapefruit and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in the mouth, you can perceive notes of nutmeg, of thyme and lemon balm underpinned by the aroma of cedar and black tea.

Processing

White pepper is a specialty that is obtained from fully ripe red peppercorns.

They are subsequently dried on direct sunlightand then soaked again so that it is possible to remove the red skin, leaving only cream-colored white peppercorn.

Thanks to careful selection that meets the strict requirements for the quality of pepper exported from Kampot, as set by the Kampot Pepper Association, only the best peppercorns are hand-selected. They are then vacuum-packed so that quality and freshness are preserved during the journey to the Czech Republic, where they are further sorted, packed, and delivered right to your table.

Usage

Thanks to the different taste, aroma, and pungency, the various types of pepper are suitable for different purposes. White pepper is suitable for light meat.

They wonderfully enhance the flavor of seafood, and go well with risotto, creamy soups and its flavor does not get lost even when combined with a good paste. The more finely you crush Kampot pepper, the more intense its pungency will be, conversely, larger fragments or whole grains impart more specific notes of pepper to the dish.

Thanks to the materials used and the special bag sealing technology, air and moisture do not reach the pepper.

Thanks to this, the grains even after the bag is opened retain authentic taste and aroma of Kampot pepper.
