Origin

Kampot pepper is grown in Kampot province located in the far south of East Asian Cambodia.

This is an area which, thanks to its seaside climate and geological conditions, allows local farmers to produce pepper of that highest quality in the world. Not without reason, this pepper has gained a protected geographical indication, similar to French champagne.
We buy pepper from small family farms for direct trade conditions, which ensure a fair reward for every grower, and we strive to promote this approach among other traders.
Thanks to this, by purchasing from us you not only receive pepper of the highest quality, but also the assurance that you are buying a sustainable and morally responsible product that helps provide its producers with medical care and education for their children

Characteristic

White pepper is a gentle, yet still peppery caress of the taste buds.

After being ground, they unfold out of camphor, sage, and cedar wood, accompanied by the delicate aroma of musk flower, grapefruit and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in the mouth, you can detect notes of nutmeg, of thyme and lemon balm underpinned by the aroma of cedar and black tea.

Processing

White pepper is a specialty that is obtained from fully ripe red peppercorns.

They are subsequently dried on direct sunlightand again soaked so that it is possible to remove the red skin, leaving only creamy white peppercorn.

Thanks to the careful selection meeting the strict quality requirements for Kampot pepper, as established by the Kampot Pepper Association, only the best peppercorns are hand-picked. They are then vacuum-sealed to preserve quality and freshness during the journey to the Czech Republic, where they are further sorted, packed, and delivered right to your table.

Usage

Thanks to the different taste, aroma, and pungency, various types of pepper are suitable for different purposes. White pepper goes well with light meat.

They wonderfully enhance the flavor of seafood, they go well with risotto, creamy soups and its flavor does not get lost even when combined with a good paste. The more finely you grind the Kampot pepper, the more intense its pungency will be, on the other hand, larger fragments or whole peppercorns will impart more distinct notes of pepper to the dish.

Package

Thanks to the materials used and the special bag sealing technology, air and moisture do not reach the pepper.

Thanks to this, even after the bag is opened, the seeds retain authentic taste and aroma of Kampot pepper. After emptying, you can also, as part of sustainability, upcycle and continue to use them in a whole range of other ways. We pack the pepper in resealable bags with a capacity of 20 to 1000 grams. Each Package also includes a a brochure that brings you the story of the best pepper in the world and introduces you to the world .pepper..field.

Awards

Quality is our top priority, as evidenced not only by the certificates our pepper carries but also by the awards it garners from world competitions.

Among the most significant are the awards given to our pepper as part of the competition Great Taste, one of the most prestigious competitions in the world of gastronomy.

However, sustainability is also important to us, which we do not treat as mere empty words, as evidenced by the SDG’s award given to truly sustainable and socially responsible projects.
