Origin

Kampot pepper is grown in Kampot province, located in the very south of East Asian Cambodia.

This is an area that, thanks to its coastal climate and geological conditions, enables local farmers to produce pepper of the vübec of the highest quality in the world. It's no coincidence that this pepper has received a Protected Geographical Indication, similar to French champagne.
We buy pepper from small family farms for direct trade conditions that guarantee a fair reward for every grower, and we strive to promote this approach among other traders.
Thanks to this, when you shop with us, you obtain not only the highest quality pepper, but also the assurance that you are buying a sustainable and morally responsible product that helps secure for its producers medical care and education for their children

Characteristic

White pepper is a gentle, yet still peppery caress of the taste buds.

After grinding it, it unfolds out of camphor, sage, and cedar wood, accompanied by the delicate aroma of nutmeg flower, of grapefruit and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in the mouth, you can detect notes of nutmeg, of thyme blossom and lemon balm underpinned by the aroma of cedar and black tea.

Processing

White pepper is a specialty that is obtained from fully ripe red peppercorns.

They are subsequently dried in direct sunlightand then soaked again so that it is possible to remove the red skin, leaving only the creamy white peppercorn.

Thanks to a meticulous selection that meets the strict quality standards of pepper balanced from Kampot, as set by the Kampot Pepper Association, only the best peppercorns are hand-picked. They are then vacuum-packed so that quality and freshness are preserved during the journey to the Czech Republic, where they are further sorted, packaged, and delivered right to your table.

Usage

Thanks to the different taste, aroma, and spiciness, the various types of pepper are suitable for different purposes. White pepper goes well with light meat.

They perfectly enhance the flavor of seafood, and go well with risotto, creamy soups and its flavor will not be lost even when combined with a good paste. The more gently you grind Kampot pepper, the more intense the spiciness will be, whereas larger fragments or whole peppercorns will give the dish more specific pepper notes.

Package

Thanks to the materials used and the special bag sealing technology, neither air nor moisture can reach the pepper.

Thanks to this, even after the bag is opened, the peppercorns retain authentic taste and aroma Kampot pepper. After emptying, you can also, as part of sustainability, upcycle and continue to use them in a variety of other ways. We pack the pepper in resealable bags with a volume of 20 to 1000 grams. Each Package also includes a brochure that brings you the story of the best pepper in the world and brings you closer to the world .pepper..field.

Awards

Quality is our top priority, as confirmed not only by the certificates that our pepper carries, but also by the awards it has won at international competitions.

Among the most significant ones is the award given to our pepper as part of competition Great Taste, one of the most prestigious competitions in the world of gastronomy.

However, sustainability is also important to us, which we do not treat merely as empty words, as demonstrated by the SDG’s award given to truly sustainable and socially responsible projects.
